ABOUT ME

Ben Sharpe – Head Therapist and Trainer

Ben is a highly motivated, versatile and skilled professional with a proven record in the delivery of Personal Training, Sports & Manual Therapy. He has helped many clients successfully reach their goals and their overcome limitations in St. Neots and the surrounding area.

A keen interest in Sport and Fitness, coupled with his own experiences with injury, initially drove an appetite to learn about the body and its mechanics. Since qualifying as a Personal Trainer in 2010 and starting his own business, Ben has progressed to complete courses in a number of different specialisms to allow him to draw on a broad spectrum of knowledge when working with his clients. These include:-

Advanced Personal Training Techniques (2011)

Postural Assessment and Corrective Exercise (2013)

Sports Massage (2014)

GP referral Exercise Prescription (2015)

Management and lifestyle strategies for lower back pain, including specialist exercise prescription. (2016) – Level 4 Register of Exercise Professionals accreditation.

Maitland spinal and peripheral joint mobilisation technique (2019)

Ben has operated a number of successful massage clinics since December 2014 gaining a wealth of clinical experience in the past 5 years.

As a professional, Ben prides himself on continuing to develop his knowledge and expertise so that he can bring the best and most effective service to his clients.

Growing up, Ben competed to a high level in athletics representing Belgrave Harriers in the National Junior League and Cambridgeshire County Athletics Association at regional level. He has also competed in a number of physique competitions winning his last in 2013. Prior to starting his own business he worked for the Royal Air Force, responsible for physical training and later worked as Fitness Manager at DW fitness in Cambridge, before starting his own company.

Ben lives in St. Neots and has a young family.
